What is CPA WAP?
CPA WAP is a platform enabling third party content providers’ access and billing of Telenor subscribers for services offered through CPA WAP.
Telenor will handle all demands of payment on behalf of the content provider with settlement by the end of each month. Revenue sharing between content and service provider is in coherence with the standard CPA agreement.

Why CPA WAP?
CPA WAP (WAP-Billing) is a supplement to the standard CPA (Content provider access) agreement, which also includes CPA SMS and CPA MMS. Through this agreement Telenor makes it possible for content providers to access Telenors customer base, start their own content services and build their own brand. The expected growth and revenue potential in the market is considered high.
The main difference between “normal” CPA SMS/CPA MMS and CPA WAP is to be found on the customer usability side. When a customer is browsing your WAP site you do not need to interrupt the WAP session to perform billing (which is the case when using CPA SMS). With WAP billing you can perform the billing in the same WAP session, and go straight to the delivery of content.
